Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Possession Only

I was a mth to mth tenant and was evicted due to a 60 day notice that I did not adhere to because I felt like it was reprisal. However, on the Judgment/Order, the order was for Possession Only even though the attorneys were suing for back rent and legal fees. I received a phone call from the attorney's collection department demanding that I pay back rent and legal fees. I wanted to know, why are they calling me, considering that the Judge's orders were very explicit, ''POSSESSION ONLY''. The judge even had it typed in with $0.00 several times with a $0.00 balance.

Re: Possession Only

I am assuming you are correct re your paperwork, and the way you read it.

If what you have entered is accurate, and there is nothing else, there is no reason to pay the law firm.
