tennant/landlord despute
can my ex landlord give me a partial check for my security deposit, and then stop payment because i didn't cash it in a timely manner, according to her? i had the check for 30 days? she then sent me a second check for about 800 dollars less and said '' hopefully you will cash this one in a timely manner.''
