Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

Hello,

I went in for an interview with a major U.S corporation. This company has expanded to Shanghai, China and I agreed to meet one of the Directors at a restaurant / bar venue for a impromptu job interview. This so called Director had an unconventional way of conducting interviews by peer pressuring potential job candidates to over drink so he can see into their "souls". Although I could have put a stop to the drinking I was under pressure to follow his orders which ultimately resulted me passing out and getting alcohol poisoning. Most likely I have no legal rights to this situation and I did not pursue any additional drama with the company. However, the director wrote back to me basically making me feel horrible about myself and putting the blame on me. Since he represents a large international U.S company... is there anything I can do to get any retribution?

That is horrible, intolerable behavior. I would hope a lawsuit would work, research would be required. If one can prove that this is their method, perhaps further action can be taken.
