how come you don't get back to the free questions? I haven't got an answer in my last 4 questions

Free questions are emailed to volunteer attorneys like myself. We choose which ones we answer. We each have our own criteria for when we answer a question and when we don't. I generally pass on overly complex questions that are not appropriate for a quick internet Q&A (though I often reply to say that), petty questions such as "my friend sold me a car for $250 and it broke down, what do I do?" or "my husband cheated on me; how do I get sole custody of the kids to punish him?" and questions from pro se litigants who frequently don't even understand enough about the mess they've gotten themselves into to ask a coherent question and will only dig themselves deeper if I try to answer them. I also pass on free questions that I can't answer from my existing knowledge of the law. I'm not going to fire up my legal research accounts for a free question. And sometimes I'm just too busy and hit "delete" for all the LawGuru emails for a while. No way to tell why I passed on yours since I have no idea which ones they were.

I also don't answer mis-categorized questions, though I sometimes will point people to the right category and suggest they repost.
