Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Hi my name is Frank

I need help with pedestrian I hit with my cars right side mirror.

I was taking my daughter to school in my SUV, and before getting to the drop off spot the school has a controlled car lane where the cars dropping off their children have to wait for the school volunteers to open the car door for the child. There is only 3 volunteers the rest of the cars have to wait until the three cars in front move out. while driving up behind the driver can only go about one or two miles per hr.

As i was pulling forward the pedestrian was standing on the edge of the side talking to one of the volunteers and moved his elbow out and was struck by my mirror, I stopped and the man still kept talking to the Volunteer as she took my child out.

Now he is asking for Money for inuring him.

Help what should I do I do have auto Insurance but he wants money.

I related the problem to the schools Principal, Since the man is the

schools parent council representative,The Principal said she would

talk to him since the lane is controlled by the schools volunteers.
