I am not an attorney? Can I represent myself in a civil suit?

Absolutely. You can always represent yourself.

You cannot represent another person, though, as that would amount to practicing law without a license.

Yes. But, Abe Lincoln once wrote that a man who represents himself has a fool for a lawyer. That is probably correct. You should call someone for a free initial consultation before you make any decisions.

Yes, but probably not very well. Even lawyers usually hire other lawyers to represent them in court instead of trying to represent themselves. You should try to get a lawyer if at all possible.
