Since attorneys aren't usually used in routine real-estate closings in California, especially of single-family residences, it'd be necessary to know some additional facts before answering this question; viz., why are the services of an attorney deemed desirable in this case, what are the nature and value of the property being sold, and where is it?

That is going to depend heavily on the nature of the transaction. Are you talking about commercial, residential multi-family, personal residential? Are there any significant anticipated issues, or just a straight forward blessing of the documents? There are way too many variables to give even an estimated budget without more information.
