Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Date of trustee sale is april 10th

My father died last year and my sister moved into his home and i greed with her to pay half rent but she lied and and never id so and i soon recieved letters of forclosure...Since then i have been trying to get soemone to help me with this and no luck

i have filed and started the process to probate the house and my sister all have signed they want no financial nor any interest in the house at all.

I also went in ex-parte and got letters fromt he judge allowing me to sel refinance and act in my father's behalf to save the house.

I have a va loan and want to keep the house...For financial reasons...Can soemoen help me the i need an extention on the forclosure...Or soemthing to stop it until i buy the house.

You need to find a real estate lawyer who practices in the county where the house is located, and quickly. This is not something to try to correct by yourself or with bulletin board help alone. Too much money is at stake.

I may be able to help you. I am presuming you are the executor of the decedent's estate. If so, as executor you may be able to file a chapter 13 bankruptcy. This should stop the foreclosure until you get a re-fi.

You need to see a lawyer handling probate and real estate law--fast. If you've got special administration powers under the probate law, you can take steps to stop the foreclosure, but you can't take your time.
