Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

My friend and I had a comic book collection together and they were all doubles triples etc... mostly all vintage and quite valuble. We were in the process of splitting them when my friend suddenly passed away. His sister got all of his belongings and the comics were in his storage. Now the sister wont give me mine. Can i sue her for them?

You need to talk with an attorney about this one. It may be possible to sue the sister directly, but you might also be required to submit a claim in his estate proceedings. If there is no estate, you may have to open one.
