Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I hired Camden Legal Group in Beverly Hills California and paid them $4000 for a loan modification and they did nothing for me. I was totally scammed and now they wont give me my money back what do I do?

We can't give specific advice where potential lawsuit parties are identified, but I think I can say that any complaint regarding a law firm should initially be referred to the California State Bar Association.

It is illegal in California to take ANY payment for a loan modification until all work is complete on the case. That doesn't mean they have to succeed, but all fees must be earned BEFORE payment. As Mr. Whipple suggests, contact the State Bar complaint system at http://calbar.ca.gov.
