when a judgment is filed, can the party trying to collect payment put a lien against my property. Even though all are already established in a trust.

The judgment creditor can obtain an abstract of judgment from the court, and record it in any property where you live. The abstract, when recorded, is a lien that attaches to any real property interest that you own or later acquire in the county where the abstract is recorded.
