Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I am doing a refinance on my home and have discovered that the last time I refinanced, a Grant Deed was never recorded - only a" Reconveyance" document. Do I need to have a Grant deed?

Your original grant deed ( which was provided to you when you initially acquired the property ) is still effective. You do not need another simply because of the refinancing.
