Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Type Your Question Here..I rented a room from a lady and she has done nothing but harassed me since I moved in. She is completely nuts. Constant texts, emails and verbal abuse. I paid 3 months rent upfront and I don't think she is willing to give me back my money so I can live without the terror of her. What can I do?.

It may depend on your lease. If you are month to month, give her 30 days notice in writing, then after moving, wait 21 days to see if she refunds your deposit. If not, sue her in small claims court for the entire amount.
