Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

employment/harassment law

My boss and I are having problems with HR after an ''anonymous'' letter arrived implicating us in a relationship. My boss admitted to the relationship and now HR is doing everything to push me out the door, except if they fire me my boss has told them he will quit. They can't afford to lose him so they are trying force me out the door because I am not finding another position. I applied for other positions outside the department and they keep telling me that I am not qualified even though I am. Is there some sort of recourse for me since it seems that I am the one being punished for the ''inappropriate'' relationship?

Yes you have recourse. You should discuss this with an experienced employment attorney - and limit detailing your facts on the web.
