Legal Question in Social Security Law in California

Can you be on social security disability, in the Ca, and be a share holder in a business? Can a Speical Need Trust own the share of the business?

If the shares are owned by the special needs trust, then by legal definition the social security benefits recipient is not the owner of those shares. He/she is considered the beneficiary of the trust, but not the owner.
