How much can an attorney charge for helping a client get diability insurance? I live in California

There are exceptions for cases that have to go up on appeal, but the standard fee is 25% of the past-due benefits, with a maximum attorney fee of $5300. So 25%, but never more than $5300, except under unusual circumstances.
