Legal Question in Tax Law in California

my daughter-in-laws father died. She is the sole heir. Her father had a handicap van that is paid for. She would like to give the van to my other son, not her husband. I tried Help, Hope, Live where my handicap son has an account, i.e., people can donate get tax deductions for amount given and then those monies must be used by my son for approved purposes. BUT Help, Hope, Live says that "in-king" donations (i.e., other than money) must be used for fundraising and cannot be titled to the honoree, i.e., my son. Is there any way to give the van to my son and receive some type of tax credit or deduction?

Probably not. Your son is not a qualified charitable organization.
