Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

Accident

I had an accident, the fault was mine, and I hit two cars. My propety liability coverange is only for $15,000 and is not enough to pay for both cars. What happened now? Do I have to pay the difference?

Re: Accident

Your insurance company has an obligation to settle within your policy limits, if they can. If they do, then the other parties will sign a release and you will not be responsible. If the other parties will not accept this, they could sue you. Your insurance company would pay the first $15,000 and you would be responsible for the difference.
