Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

my license is suspended for child support my car was impounded using 14601 of the ca vehicle code but that is suspension for dui. can they impound my vehicle using that vc.

14601 is driving with a suspended license. If it's because of a DUI, that's a 14601.2VC. There are many different subsections of 14601 and law enforcement is entitled to impound for up to 30 days, as a nuisance. I wish you well...........David Wallin
