Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

Hi i received a speeding ticket and i just found out that my frist name incorrectly spell wrong and i went on line and the ticket is spell defferent from the officer ticket so how do i defend myself if tickect when my name is spell wrong and how do i now if the ticket i got can stick in court for speeding (radar gun)he use was in working order.

A minor spelling error will not invalidate a traffic ticket. You obviously know that the ticket was directed at you, which is what matters. The interests of justice would not be served by excusing people for trivial reasons like this.

You can question the officer about the condition of the radar gun at your court date. You can also subpoena information about it ahead of time.
