Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My birth parent newer were married.

Forty years ago my mother said to court :" I do not know who is the father of my son." and than I was adopted by my mother husband. My birth father died in California .His will is going to be contested. Do I have any Inheritance right.

Upon your adoption, the legal parent/child relationship between you and your biological father was terminated. For all legal purposes, your adoptive father is your father.

Furthermore, if your biological father's will was executed after your birth, and he was aware that he was your father, then you wouldn't inherit even if you hadn't been adopted, unless you were named within the will as a beneficiary of a portion of your biological father's estate.
