Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My husband & I did a will & power of attorney in 2003 we just found out he has up to 5-15 years to live from heart disease. He wants to change parts of the will & I do not. Does a will or power of attorney for health have to be done within so many years of dying like it cannot be redone like our first will was we both signed so if one changed there mind it could not be overturned can it?Thank You g

Wills can always be changed as long as it meets the legal formalities. Each person has their own will so he can change it.

There is no time from death cannot be changed. It is possible that there is what is called as a contract for wills, that allows the surviving spouse to sue for breach of contract on the agreement not to change the wills.
