If you have a joint checking account with a parent & later become their estate conservator do you have to move the joint acct. funds to the conservator account.

Without knowing more, the safest answer would be YES. If the joint account contains money that is yours and also money that belongs to your parents, then that would be more complicated and you would need to file something with the Court to separate your respective funds. But if all the money belongs to your parent and you are now the Conservator for the Estate, then this would need to become a Conservatorship account.
