By filing a Petition in the appropriate Court to terminate a life tenancy. This can be difficult because the Court may allow the defaulting life tenant to "cure" the problems and remain in place because, after all, those were the decedent's wishes. Obviously only an attorney reviewing the specific documents and facts and circumstances in your case can fully advise you on the likelihood of success and the potential costs for such an action.
