Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

We want to setup a trust fund for the purpose of aiding animation related study/work/projects. This trust fund will receive funding from different income sources (not investment), mainly a fraction of designated percentage of project incomes. We will assign a company to manage the trust fund for approving and/or assigning funding to the study/work/projects that meet the criteria. Is there a series of guided steps to help us setup this trust fund correctly and legally without paying large fees?

Just like Len Tillem said, contact the Community Foundation in your area. They should be able to help you and save you from large fees.
