Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
Can I submit to the estate my expenses for flying and hotel room. My parents lived in Calif. and I live in another state. I am not the executor, but my parents daughter. When one of my parents was passing, I had to fly there and may be returning for memorial service, then again for estate sale. This is costing me a lot of money.

It's not really appropriate for you to receive reimbursement for these expenses. It's not a debt owed by the decedent, or the estate.
