Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I did not get a Tax Id for my sister's estate. I only got one for her irrevocable trust. It was revocable before her death. I didn't file form 8855 for section 645 election in 2013. What should I do in 2014. This is the second year of filing form 1041. Can I file it this year? the assets of estate and trust are identical. Plus she had a pour over will.
