Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Trustee (my brother) & Trust attorney of my parents estate (California) are refusing to give me my distribution until I sign letter approving accounting. Other beneficiaries have signed and gotten their checks. I don't agree with some actions the trustee has taken and have asked for explanations and supporting documents (real estate closing statements, appraisals) and been refused. I understand that my only recourse regarding the accounting and actions is via probate court and that may not be cost beneficial however I would like to take some time to consider this option. Is there any way to get my distribution check released in the meantime?
