can trustee be changed and how is that executed ie witnesses signatures attorney etc.

Changing a Trustee can occur in several different ways. It may depend on the wording of the particular Trust itself. That is the first place to look. That will specify how a Trustee can resign and who the next in line is. If you are talking about removing a Trustee, that requires a Petition and Court proceedings to determine if there is good cause to remove the Trustee. It can be expensive and is a difficult process unless the Trustee has been stealing or something else egregious like that.
