Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I was hurt on job kept working for 3months afterwards company owner was the one i was working with gave me payed days off i finially finished job went to my doctor was put on sdi filied for workmans comp was denied after over one year later workmans comp sent me qme and case was aceptted am i in tilted to recive the diferance between workers comp and sdi for the time i filed for workers comp wich is 500 a week difference.
