No. It has to be on working hours and you need to be reimbursed for loss wages. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for representation.

The Insurer has to pay ONLY for Temporary Partial or Temporary Total Disability.

If the physician writes on the report you were TTD for the duration of the appointment, you get ONLY 2/3 of the time lost.

So if you lose 3 hours, you will only get paid for 2 hours.

And you will have to wait weeks if not months for that repayment, after sending in the paycheck stubs with the reduced pay and other evidence.

PICK A CLINIC WHERE YOU DON'T MISS WORK. you'll be 100% happier. if the facility you attend refuses to schedule you before or after work, CHANGE PRIMARY TREATING PHYSICIANS.

The are lots of excellent physicians on many Medical Provider Networks right there in Rancho and Ontario and Upland, so you are not forced to stay with a treater who makes you miss work then hope and pray and bed to be reimbused 2/3 of the missed wage.

If you are ordered to a medical evaluation for the convenience and information of the Defense/Insurer, the Labor Code specifies you get ONE DAY of Temporary Disability... TTD is just 2/3 of your average weekly earnings, not 100% reimbursement.

Email me at [email protected] so I can get your insurer and pick a real doctor in the IE who can see you before or after work so you stop losing hours and money.
