How can you get a State of California Employer to settle the lifetime medical portion of a workers' compensation claim?

Make a written demand for the amount you'd accept to surrender all your future rights in a COMPROMISE & RELEASE AGREEMENT. if that agency has some money and if the buy-out sounds like a bargain for that agency, they'll respond.

if they have no money right now for buying out possible future expenses, you'll get ignored.

There's nothing in the Labor Code requiring an employer to come up with case to buy out future rights, so it's at the adjuster's individual discretion whether your proposal is a fair deal for the insurer/employer, so don't tick off the adjuster with 100 phone calls.
