Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Workers Comp. Law - Family Medical Leave Act

I have been with my employer for 11 years, was injured on the job 4 years ago, continue to require treatment - injury is permanent and stationary. Can my employer request I take Medical Leave rather than make accommodations for my Worker's Compensation Injury if my Physician has recommended changing jobs or vocational rehabilitation, or under any circumstances?

Get an attorney. Depending on the facts, you might have actions under workers' compensation or the Fair Employment and Housing Act, or both.
