Legal Question in Personal Injury in Canada

Dear Sir/Madam,

what category of law would it fall under if someone was trying launch a lawsuit against a school board for failing to protect their child from bullying? Would it count as Tort law?

I am in the states and can't help you but I have a very similar case. There are laws and school policies which prohibit this kind of behavior. You have a case.
