Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Colorado

If you received a summon

I recieved a summom to appear in court regarding a debt collection, I called the representative for the Plantiff and settled the issue with them and i was told by the rep that the plantiff has agreed to what settled. Do I still have to go to court on the date that was in the summon? or do I need to call the court that I settled the issue?

Was a stipulation for dismissal signed by all parties and filed in Court? Was there a written settlement agreement? If there is no stipulation for dismissal filed, I would plan to appear.
