Re: Dui

You can apply, if eligible, for a red license after 3 months. In the meanwhile arrange alternate mode of transportation and an alternate position with your employer that does not require driving.

Re: Dui

you have a right to a hearing on the revocation - you must request the hearing within 7 days of getting notice of the revocation (immediately upon arrest if breath or a refusal, when you get something in the mail if blood test) - just go to the local DMV and say you were arrested for DUI and want to request a hearing. I suggest not to request the cop.

This will allow you to have a license until the date of the hearing. There is a chance of winning the hearing, but it is difficult. Also, you can apply for a 1 month no drive, followed by 5 months of probationary license driving.

Finally, the DUI case needs attention too. If you are convicted of DUI, then you lose you license for a year concurrent (if not a refusal). But, if convicted of something other than DUI, then you should be able to keep your license.
