Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

I was recently offered a job promotion through the company I work for if I was able to relocate to another state. I currently have majority custody of my 8 year old daughter and would like to know how difficult it would be for me to relocate with her to another state and split custody between states with her mother who resides here in Colorado? Thank You!

It will be really easy if the mother agrees to your proposal and you submit the agreement to the Court for approval.

If the mother does not agree then you need an attorney. Contested relocation cases are complicated and fact specific. The Court must evaluate several factors to determine whether the relocation should b allowed.
