Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado

I have an student visa and I got married with a permenent resident. After that she filled out the I-130 form we recived from I-797C, notice of action receipt. So after 5 months we recived I-797, notice of action approval notice. And it says on it I'm not eligible and because of that they have sent the approved to national visa center. So I'm wondring if i can change my visa or my status so I don't have to go to school ?

You need to see an attorney. I know you can try to browse the internet and find answers, but it is best to gather your documents and set up a consultation. You can call us at 303-872-0090. Here is the thing; your approved I-130 will be sent to the national visa center and then you will wait for like 2 years or so (depending on where you are from) until you can apply. There may be some options to speed things up..like getting your spouse to become a citizen. Even though you can drop out of status on your F1 visa and still become a resident once your priority date comes up, it is my suggestion that you keep going to school until you can adjust status.
