Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Colorado

Hi i live in Denver, co. And i was served a Notice to quit. The leasing manager did not state a reason on the notice, it states accordingly you are notified and required to vacate and surrender the premises on or before said date and time. It's a day notice. I've been a tenant since May of last year and the renewed lease ends August of 2017, shouldn't i be given 28 days according to Colorado law?
