Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Connecticut

If police arn't doing anything about my identity theft what can I do? I know the person who did it and have pages of evidence but they refuse to do anything cause its new britain and they dont do anything

You may file a civil suit against the offending party for civil larceny, fraud, etc.
