Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

My husband came into the marriage with a maxed out credit card. We are getting divorced. Although he has made payments on his card, it has remained maxed out. Can the amount of debt he came into the marriage be added to his debt obligations and subtracted from mine?

The court can order that the debt he brought to the marriage remain his alone, and that he hold you harmless on it. I don't know what you mean by "subtracted from mine".
