Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Husband & I are residents of CT. I want to determine validity of marriage license issued in 1991, Montego Bay Jamaica. Due to circumstances, I question validity- how do I prove or find out if recognized in CT?

If it was validly issued in Jamaica, it will be recognized as valid in CT.
