Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

I have sole custody of my 2 young girls. (5,7) My x husband has visitation on sun, mon for a few hrs a each of those days. He wants to bring my girls to a baby shower at a pool hall/bar! I do not think it is proper for a 5 and 7 year old to be in a bar at all. Do i have the right to refuse him to take them on that sun to the shower at the pool hall/bar? I have read up on sole custody and it says i have the right to make all decisions concerning my girls and that includes emotional and moral issues. do i?

Are other children attending? Many pool hall/bar type establishments are appropriate depending on who is invited and what type of place it is.

You may have the right to deny him if he wants to bring them to a place that is inappropriate. I'm just not so sure this is one of them.
