Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

State connecticut - family law

i am divorced and awarded alimony. the defendant was not willing to pay. always used evasive tactics. the bridgeport court has found him in contempt. he owes over 55,000.00

he filed a motion to dismiss & the judge denied it. he has now appealed to the appellate court. i represent myself. he has lawyers. i need to know if i should file a motion for contempt. i want him to pay while he is waiting for this appeal. this appeal is just a delay tactic. i'm not sure what to file to demand he start paying.

The Court won't want to hear anything regarding an issue which is pending on appeal. I am more than happy to discuss possible representation regarding the appeal.
