Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

Pre Judgement remedy against me

I have recently had a pre judgement awarded against me. I feel like I was not given a fair decision by the judge. I am realy concerned about going forward, because this judge had no premise for his decision. I feel that the plaintiffs built a huge case that the judge bought.

What are the percentages of pre judgements holding up in a trial?

I also would like to know of any really good defense attorneys in CT.

Re: Pre Judgement remedy against me

A PJR is based on a very low standard of proof;that proof being probable cause. The Court finds that there exists enough evidence that the plaintiff may prevail at trial;and the PJR is the plaintiff's security.Whether you have a chance to prevail requires that an attorney meet with you and reviews your side of the matter.
