Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

Restraining Orders

Hi I've got a father of a friend that's a girl of mine who's 26 and doesn't want me around her and is threatening me with a restraining order. Can he do this considering she's a grown woman and doesn't want to do a restraining order. I assume only if she were a minor but she's 26. Thanks.

Re: Restraining Orders

If she were a minor he might be able to press criminal charges for interference, but if she is an adult it is unlikely. Does she live with her father? I may need more information. How old is she?
