Displaying items without its brand name

If I were to use an image of a product but take off the brand name of that product so that basically the shell is what the viewer sees, am I infringing on any laws?

Yes, esp if the product is readily recognizable or part of its protected TM status, e.g Coke Bottle, VW Beetle, Apple IPOD. Why are you displaying these products?
