Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Connecticut

I had a postpartum hemorrhage a week after birth that I believe could have been prevented. Uterine atony was reported right after delivery and 3 days after birth I went to the Dr with excruciating pain in my lower abdomen where it hurt so bad to movc I was in tears. The Dr told me it was just everything getting back to normal. Not even a week after, I was rushed to the ER by ambulance with a post partum hemorrhage and I even passed out when the ambulance got to my house and my blood pressure was incredibly low. I thought I was going to die. They ended up doing a D&C and that worked but I am afraid I won't be able to have more kids for some reason if they damaged my uterus during the D&C. I had anxiety before having the baby and this only made it worse and I had severe depression and maybe even PTSD. I am certain there was negligence and this could have been prevented if the Dr had listened to me when I went in for pain in my abdomen KNOWING I had uterine atony after delivery. Is it worth a lawsuit?
