Legal Question in Employment Law in District of Columbia

My supervisor doesnt want to pay me overtime that i already did but he paid the other employees, he wants to change my job without asking me or talking to me because he wants me to do the dishes and i said no, i am working for 13 years as administrative and financial assistant (Adm & Finance) what i have to do?

You are in a tough situation. If you are entitled to be paid overtime, you have to be paid. Otherwise, the company is subject to a lawsuit. You can file a complaint with the Department of Labor or file the lawsuit yourself.

Yes, the company can change your job description if you're not under contract or a union member. If you don't like your new duties, you can complain internally. If that doesn't work, your only option may be to find new employment.
