Legal Question in Real Estate Law in District of Columbia

In 2007 I was driving my boyfriends fathers car and was stopped by the police because the car had stolen tags. I was arrested and charged for receiving stolen property. I later paid a $150 fine and showed my receipt in court. Mind you, I have never been arressted. Is there any other way I can find out if it appears on my criminal record besides having to purchase a copy of my record??????

Since you were arrested for driving a car with stolen tags, there may be a criminal record. Do a criminal records check of yourself. Check with the court and request that the record be expunged, assuming you qualify. This is general information. If you need further assistance, contact an attorney.
